At Favored Love Jack Russell Terriers Home, we are dedicated to ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of every Jack Russell Terrier puppy that finds a new home through us. All puppies purchased from our website come with a minimum one-month health guarantee from the breeder. If you have any concerns about your puppy’s safety or rights, we encourage you to review the pet laws and regulations that apply in your state.
Every puppy undergoes a professional veterinary examination within ten days after purchase. If a licensed veterinarian identifies a serious health problem or chronic illness, you may choose one of the following options within five to ten days of purchase: return the puppy and receive a full refund, return the puppy and exchange it for another of equal value, or return the puppy and receive reimbursement for veterinary fees not exceeding the puppy’s purchase price. However, if the breeder has already provided a signed and stamped veterinary health certificate, these options will not apply.
If a licensed veterinarian confirms that the puppy has a congenital or hereditary condition that affects its health, or if the puppy dies from such a condition, you may still select one of the options above. Within 24 to 72 hours of purchase, you will receive details about the veterinarian who examined your puppy, including the name, address, and phone number. If you do not notify the breeder about a health concern within 72 business hours, the guarantee becomes void and the responsibility rests with you.
Each U.S. state has its own pet purchase and welfare laws. All breeders associated with Favored Love Jack Russell Terriers Home comply with these regulations, offering at least a one-month health protection period. If your state requires a longer protection period, that rule will be followed. It is illegal for any breeder to falsify health records or misrepresent a puppy’s condition in violation of state laws.
Some breeders may offer an extended hereditary health guarantee, covering genetic illnesses verified by legitimate veterinary examinations and laboratory tests. This extended guarantee does not cover regular veterinary expenses, preventive care, or conditions resulting from accidents or neglect. Buyers must present official documentation to the breeder before any reimbursement is considered. All required vaccinations and deworming treatments are administered according to the veterinary schedule, and new owners must visit a licensed veterinarian within two days of taking their puppy home for an additional health check.
If a veterinarian discovers a life-threatening genetic defect or major health problem during the initial examination, a replacement puppy will be provided, subject to availability, if the breeder is informed within 24 hours. The puppy must be returned with its ANKC registration papers and a signed veterinary report confirming the condition. All veterinary inspection fees are the buyer’s responsibility. Conditions such as uneven bites, undescended testicles, mild heart murmurs, fleas, mites, ringworm, kennel cough, coccidia, giardia, and hernias are common among puppies and are not covered under this guarantee.
Favored Love Jack Russell Terriers Home is not responsible for Parvo, Distemper, or Coronavirus infections diagnosed more than two days after purchase, as these illnesses can develop rapidly after the puppy leaves the breeder’s environment.
We also provide a 12-month health guarantee from the puppy’s date of birth, covering any life-threatening genetic or congenital defects. This guarantee excludes Parvo, Distemper, heartworms, and nutrition or virus-related illnesses. If such a defect is confirmed, the puppy will be replaced with another of equal value, depending on availability. Refunds are not provided. A written veterinary report is required, and all veterinary bills are the buyer’s responsibility. In the event of a puppy’s death, a veterinary explanation or necropsy report must be provided before any action can be taken. The breeder is not responsible for medical or cremation expenses.
All companion puppies are sold with Limited Registration, requiring the puppy to be spayed or neutered after 27 weeks of age. Puppies sold for show or breeding are provided with Full Registration, though no guarantee is made regarding future show titles or breeding capabilities. At the time of sale, the puppy’s pedigree and physical qualities are considered suitable for these purposes.
Each puppy from Favored Love Jack Russell Terriers Home receives up-to-date vaccinations and deworming treatments while in the breeder’s care. These health records are provided to the buyer, who must continue the prescribed vaccination schedule and annual boosters under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian to maintain the puppy’s long-term health.
In the event of any legal dispute between the breeder and the original buyer, the buyer agrees to cover all legal and court expenses incurred by both parties. Any such proceedings will take place within the state and jurisdiction of the breeder.
